You’d be forgiven for assuming Kanye West announcing his run for President in the 2020 election would be one of the most radical things he’d say this year, but it seems he’s not done yet.
On July 10th he tweeted accompanied with a hand-scrawled note with the caption “YEEZY SOUND ROSTER PROPOSAL”.
The controversial rapper then posted a photo of a list of names in blue pen that included Abstract Mindset, Cyhi, the Prince, Tony Williams, Clipse, KC and even his seven-year-old daughter, North West.
West trademarked the brand “Yeezy Sound” in 2017 with a view to launching his own streaming service for music, audio, images, video and multimedia. As yet, nothing has materialised, but perhaps this tweet is a sign of things to come.
Or perhaps it will remain as ambiguous as his presidential campaign. But one thing we do know with Kanye is that he keeps us on our toes.
